Healthcare professionals in Campbell, CA now have a faster, more flexible way to complete American Heart Association® BLS, ACLS, and PALS training. Safety Training Seminars, located at 125 E Sunnyoaks Ave, Suite 111, offers Self-Guided Learning™ courses that let you study online at your own pace and complete a self-guided skills session at a CPR Verification Station™ learning center—no fixed class schedule required.
Whether you work at El Camino Health Los Gatos Hospital (815 Pollard Rd, Los Gatos) or O’Connor Hospital in San Jose (2105 Forest Avenue), this training option fits around your shifts and responsibilities.
Self-Guided Learning™ combines two independent components:
You complete both components on your own schedule. Upon successful completion of both, you receive an American Heart Association® Course Completion eCard for BLS, ACLS, or PALS. The eCard is valid for two years and meets employment, hospital, and clinical rotation requirements across the United States.
This approach differs from traditional classroom learning, blended learning, and instructor-led formats. There is no instructor present during the skills session. The CPR Verification Station learning center guides you through each skill and delivers real-time, objective performance feedback automatically.
The online portion uses True Adaptive™ learning powered by Area9 Lyceum. This technology continuously assesses your knowledge and confidence, then adjusts the content path to focus on your individual gaps. You spend less time on topics you already understand and more time where it counts.
Most learners complete the BLS online component in one to two hours. ACLS and PALS each take approximately two to three hours. You can start and stop at any time, from any compatible device—desktop, laptop, or tablet.
After finishing the online course, you visit the CPR Verification Station learning center at the Campbell location. The session runs approximately 30 minutes for BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
During the session, a Voice-Assisted Manikin (VAM) measures your CPR performance against American Heart Association®-defined criteria. It evaluates compression depth, recoil, rate, and ventilation in real time. You receive immediate, audiovisual feedback and can repeat practice as needed until you achieve a passing score.
No instructor facilitates or evaluates the session. The CPR Verification Station center handles the objective skills assessment entirely.
The Safety Training Seminars Campbell location sits inside the Sunnyoaks Executive Offices on E Sunnyoaks Ave. Ample parking surrounds the building. Once inside, head to the middle of the atrium—the training area is next to the mailboxes, across from the men’s restroom.
The location is easy to reach from several nearby landmarks:
The center operates Monday through Sunday, 8 AM to 10 PM.
Self-Guided Learning™ courses work best for:
This format does not replace instructor-led or blended learning. It serves learners who need an independent, self-directed path to American Heart Association® course completion.
Upon successful completion of both the online learning activity and the self-guided skills session, Safety Training Seminars issues your American Heart Association® Course Completion eCard the same day. No waiting. No delays.
The eCard serves as official verification of your BLS, ACLS, or PALS training and meets American Heart Association® requirements nationwide.
